First snow of the year and wouldn’t you know it, I had an in-person appointment with Donovan at 9:30am…and guess who was running late? Donovan was very accommodating and understanding and met me upon arrival with a huge smile. He also impressed me with his knowledge of Medicare, explained everything to me and was very patient if I had a question or needed him to explain it to me a second time. (The new office is very nice too! Candy and snacks are available if you come in a little hungry.)

I had my first appointment with Hitcho Insurance today. Donovan was my Medicare Specialist. I needed to find another drug plan for Medicare as my last one was going to jump by $50/month. With ‘65’ approaching, my mailbox has been inundated with mailings about Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans. In the mix was a letter from Mike Hitcho with information about his company Hitcho Insurance and some basic Medicare information, the letter was just added to that ‘pile’. I had been doing my own research on Medicare & Supplement plans, to say that my head was spinning was an understatement.
Low & behold, letter #2 from Mike arrived, so I switched gears with my research to Hitcho Insurance’s website. Mike has several very informative segments about Medicare from WFMZ-TV 69’s Community Connection. After watching the videos, I was sold and made the call to Hitcho Insurance and connected with Lisa Flores.
Lisa did all the research and came back with recommendations based on my information and situation. My husband & I had a conference call with Lisa to review the information on Medicare and the plans she suggested. Lisa emailed the information for us to review, no hard sales pitch.
I just gave Lisa a call with my selection, she will process the applications and said I would receive everything directly, any questions just reach out to her. After speaking with Lisa, I told my husband – that just seemed too simple & easy.
Thanks to those simple letters received in the mail (no phone call solicitations), my Medicare journey was a whole lot easier than what it started out to be. Lisa & Hitcho Insurance removed the stress of muddling through all the information and available plans. A few months shy of ‘65’ and I’m extremely happy that the weight of my Medicare choice is off my shoulders.

Craig knew the price points, he had a handle of the difference among various plans available and he helped complete all of the paperwork and serves as a resource for me.
So far the transition is smooth and I feel well served by Hitcho and Craig W as my agent.

There is absolutely no way I could have navigated all the Medicare options without help from Lisa Flores. Lisa was incredibly patient and helped me pick the best options for my personal needs. She made sure I applied for my Medicare card as soon as it was available to me and once I received my card she then helped me sign up for the plans we agreed worked for me.
